A market the banks left behind
Murahomes operates in the U.S. Midwest, focused on smaller single-family homes: a common and in-demand housing type in suburban and small-town markets.
Because of their size and price point, many of these homes fall below the minimum loan amount traditional banks are willing to finance. That leaves capable buyers locked out, not for lack of creditworthiness, but for lack of a mortgage product that fits.
Murahomes exists to close that gap: financing overlooked homes for buyers the banking system passed over, and turning that activity into secured, asset-backed positions for our investors.
How Murahomes works
We acquire homes outright with committed capital, then finance their sale to vetted buyers through long-term owner-financing secured by the property itself.
Our capital partners participate as secured lenders. Each position is collateralized by a recorded lien on a specific home and repaid on a defined amortization schedule: principal returned steadily over the life of the note, not deferred to a single payout at the end.
Murahomes handles everything from acquisition through servicing. The relationship stays simple: capital in, secured by property, repaid over time.
Structured to protect capital first
Capital protection isn't an afterthought here, it's the starting point for how every position is built.
Real collateral. Every position is tied to a specific home, with a recorded lien held in your favor.
A conservative basis. Because we finance below the level banks will lend, there's an equity cushion built in from the day we acquire.
Insured on multiple fronts. Title insurance guards against claims on the property; hazard insurance protects it against loss — coverage standing behind your position on more than one front.
